Recently, payments giant Mastercard selected 7 crypto startups for Mastercard's global reach program to expand innovation, simplify the movement of decentralized financial assets and more. According to Mastercard, the companies selected for the Start Path program all have good products and have raised seed capital or Series A rounds. 7 projects have prominent names such as: Cenoa, Crossmint, CUBE3 AI,... 2️⃣ SEC Warns of Strengthening Crypto Regulation. According to David Hirsch, Head of Crypto Asset Management at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the agency will strengthen its regulation of the crypto industry. Thereby, many cryptocurrency exchanges and decentralized finance (DeFi) projects may face regulatory issues from the agency. 3️⃣ CoinEx returns to business after the $27 million hack. CoinEx resumed deposits and withdrawals for select crypto assets from Sept. 21, following the $27.8 million wallet hack. The exchange warns users not to transfer funds to old wallet addresses to avoid possible unwanted losses. 4️⃣ Grayscale abandons ETHW. Although Grayscale considered buying back and selling these ETHW on behalf of its shareholders, it has delayed this decision for a year.
