DBS, Singapore's largest bank, has announced metaverse game DBS BetterWorld, which will focus on educating players about sustainability and food waste issues. The game, scheduled for release in late 2023, will give users the chance to earn rewards that can be exchanged for cash through the bank's app, PayLah. The bank has been developing this idea for about a year and bought a plot of land in the Sandbox in 2022.
