Japanese fintech developer Soramitsu is building a connected payment network linking Japan, India, China and Southeast Asia together through the use of Cambodia's central bank digital currency (CBDC). 2️⃣ Aptos partnered with Microsoft, APT price bounced up. Specifically, an important part of the collaboration is the integration of Microsoft's Artificial Intelligence (AI) infrastructure into Aptos. This will spur the development of new blockchain services, including a chatbot called Aptos Assistant. This chatbot will support users across the ecosystem by answering questions and providing useful resources for developing smart contracts and decentralized applications. This chatbot is built on top of Microsoft's Azure OpenAI service. 3️⃣ Fantom considers moving development to Optimistic Rollups. In a recent interview on The Block, Andre Cronje, founder of the Fantom Foundation, said that the platform is considering moving towards Optimistic Rollups and becoming more connected to Ethereum. 4️⃣ Google and Universal Music team up to settle AI artist compensation.
